I Have a Friend.

I will always have my friend

From this thought I can not bend

Though I know not what I missed

What we shared will not be remised

We were online soul mates

We had all that it takes

We couldn’t have been more to one another

So to move on just seems such a bother

I can’t believe how it hurts

Or how it comes in spurts

I can not hold him in disdain

For I know he too feels pain

I try to forget and move on

But the thought of him is never gone

I will hold in my heart what I know was and is true

For this is all I can do to help me move through

Because forever in my heart

He will always be a part

I have a friend

I will always have my friend
