The Fluffsters A.k.a. Christi 5/85-10/98
She was a golden retriever, a good ole dog She was born in my hands, my first breeding Number eight of nine that Molly had Five years ago circumstances brought her back to us She taught the pack how to break dance She was a happy girl She had no teeth but could peel a tangerine or an orange She was happiest if she was rolling in the sand Or swimming in any body of water She would stay in the water literally all day long, when we were on the boat in Baja She was well behaved We called her pigpen and dust mop She could pick up more stuff in her coat and feathers Her gastrointestinal problems where horrendous She would be the one to get up and leave the room if she passed gas She was a loving dog, kind and gentle to kid and pup alike I will always remember her happy woofs that she would let out with At breakfast and dinner in assuming the positions for feeding, she would always enter from between your legs to her spot in the lineup She got pretty clinging at the vet and didnt especially like going She was gentle in spirit and of mouth She was a good girl and we will miss her She left us today, spent the day here at home Surrounded by those that loved her Calm and peaceful Till she said good bye with one last happy woof We will miss her
