So... if you are here I would guess that you would like to know a little bit about me personally? Well, let's go then! (The picture there is me and my boy James, grin.) My husband and I live in a beautiful little house in Santa Barbara, California. His grandfather built the house in 1950, and Grandma left it to us. So it is very special to both of us and we have done a lot of work on it. We have nearly a double lot and it has plenty of room for our 19 foot travel trailer and a boat out back near the shop. In the yard we have 2 tangerine trees, an orange, lemon, black fig, and a persimmon. Living in Santa Barbara's Mediterranean climate gives us the opportunity to spend a fair amount of time outside, so we have landscaped accordingly. We have a huge deck for BBQ's and entertaining friends, with a lovely lawn, and lots of flowers. There are over 25 rose bushes total. I have a few favorites but especially like the 45 year old Cecil Brunners that fill the front fence. We are proud members of The Muddy Foot Tribe as we have a golden retriever, 2 yellow labs and a little gray cat. They have their own page on this site also. They insisted they had something to say, so I am going along with it. If you have pets, I am sure you will understand. I have included links to my favorite things, and interests from this page also. There is also a sample of my writing, in a story about a personal journey I took in June of 98. Enjoy. |
