Friends and Family Update Page I know it is difficult with work and all for us to stay in touch so I will work at keeping updates on here with the latest news on my life, : ) If you haven't been in touch in a while, check out the Archive Pages to catch up. This is were I will also link you with The Latest Pictures! 9/8/01 Well! I guess I haven't been here in a bit, grin. I am not working, I have moved, James has gone to Rainbow Bridge, geesh, sorry it has been so long, although I have been doing some emailing. I am between jobs right now, as of June. The timing wasn't the best but wasn't the worst either. Job restructuring, grin. No problem really, I will use this as an opportunity to get into what I would really like to be doing and to make more money. The happiest I ever was, was when I was working at City College in Santa Barbara. I loved helping and problem solving, so am focusing on jobs in that direction. There are lots of jobs out there, but apparently there are a lot of techs applying also. I was getting ready to move out of that house when this all came about. The owner had sold it, and also the living situation with the other tenant had reached a breaking point. Luckily the timing didn't impede the move, (my life works). The new place is an apartment, so no yard work! The animals are allowed and I am only 20 minutes from Nancy now! It is a large, airy, bright 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with 2 decks! So I do have my roses still. A total of 9 planters and they are doing fine. I will be posting pictures today too. Good timing! Not working has allowed me to totally move in and set up housekeeping. I never did totally move in to the other house in a year and a half, so you know this feels good, as I was totally done in a months time! Donna, Andrew, Chris and Bear came up for vacation from Santa Barbara. They arrived the day before my birthday and stayed a week, till July 5th. We had a wonderful time sightseeing around Portland. All of which was new to me also. One of the best parts was their being here for James. It was truly a gift for him to be with life long family at the end like that. James had been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his mouth a month before. It was growing rapidly and he was on antibiotics and pain meds for it. I know it meant a lot to him to be with his buddy again. I let James go on July 28th. We had talked and he told me he was tired of the lump and not being able to play like he used to. It was very peacefully done here at home and I was really okay with it all. I knew he hadn't suffered and had a good life. He was a gift for sure! I am grateful for the time I had with him. Caitlyn and Nick are doing fine and chase and play like always. I have started a Ladies Hysterical group up here! Not working I was able to start it up without it being a work thing or hurting anyone's feelings from work. We are starting slow, but we also have a larger area to deal with so logistics is an issue. I am also starting the web site for the Ladies Hysterical Group! I am waiting for feedback from all the gals and will do the work getting it put together. It will be a joint effort from everyone and what ever they contribute! https://www.angelfire.com/amiga/hysterical
